COVIDSafe Customer Insights

1. I just have to remember to turn it back on some time later. After the last update, the notification that is usually on my lock screen is missing and affects the appearance of other notifications, which makes it difficult to read incoming messages on the lock screen.

2. Oh - I almost forgot! It was handy - to warn me that my Bluetooth was turned off!I have no confidence that this app is even working, the only thing I have noticed is the obstrusive notification bar and the drain on my battery.

3. One kludge I can think of is killing the process when not out and about, but that would require remembering to turn it back on again, which, let's face it, is a losing proposition.I installed the app to do my part in trace mapping but it is sucking my battery dry and I'm considering uninstalling it again just so my phone lasts through the day without recharging twice.

4. No issues with Bluetooth here.Have been using this since the start, as it seemed the "right thing" to do, but this last update has caused the phone to bog down and be unresponsive, and locked up a few times.

5. The use of Bluetooth was disruptive in the 1st version: if you were listening to music using a Bluetooth speaker, for instance, there was a 3 to 5 seconds pause every time you were in contact with someone using the same app.

6. 4 stars because I would prefer the option of being able to turn off the bluetooth and location permissions whenever I'm not out in public.

7. It seemed to install easily and ran well, reminding me whenever I turned my Bluetooth off that CovidSafe needed it to work to protect me.

8. I have turned Bluetooth off but there is a constant notification telling me it's turned off and I can't clear the notification off the screen.

9. If I turn off Bluetooth for a while (essentially disabling COVIDSafe from scanning) it does seem to fix it temporarily.

10. Give me the control to turn it on and off when I need rather than using all my battery even when it's apparently off (which of course it certainly is not).

11. Closing and opening the app fixed the glitch.I've intermittently noticed a huge battery drain and overheating issue starting just recently too.
