1. There is no reason to use my location while using bluetooth (if you deny this it will not let you change colors), or use my storage for anything else besides mp3 media even then the music feature sucks it just rapidly changes colors and is the same thing for the microphone feature.Don't download.

2. There's no reason this app would need to use internet when its supposed to control a local area device within bluetooth range.Terrible, never found nor connected to the light through every possible way using my phone.

3. Uninstalled! It's probably malware, because there is absolutely zero reason, or function, that should be needing access to your phone's location, to change LED colors.

4. Couldn't get bluetooth to even pair, said it requires location access to work.

5. Last update was almost 3 years ago! I wouldn't recommend this app until these problems are fixed!Bought 6 auraLED light bars from Home Depot which all worked out of the box.

6. The audio listening way also produced absolutely nothing of actual mood changing.So I bought myself 2 of these not even 2 hours ago, I was wanting to have 2 LEDs, one on my wall and one behind monitor they both work fine.

7. -0.5☆ The app asked for access to my location and bluetooth which listed the lights automatically in the app.

8. If you play music, all it does is flash rapidly between all colors.

9. Just use the light bar's included remote.I don't understand why it needs my location.

10. I did actually try to enable location, just to see if it would work, and the app literally crashed my phone instantly into a reboot.

1. Fix auraLED Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart auraLED: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the auraLED App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "auraLED" » Open auraLED » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for auraLED » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear auraLED app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from auraLED servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "auraLED" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check auraLED app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, auraLED might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall auraLED. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall auraLED then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing auraLED not working

2. Fix auraLED Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make auraLED be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to auraLED not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, auraLED may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
