1. Otherwise, this app is packed with the information I wanted and is overall aesthetically pleasing! The only other issue is that I've never been able to get the home screen widget to work.Does a great job following you vs other apps that won't follow when they say they do.
2. I'm not sure how they can do this but after using it for several weeks and then trying the actual app (windy) I can say it's much better to cut out the middle man in this case.... would have been nice if the developers had mentioned in the app info that this is the case for transparency with potential customers.Excellent, easy to follow weather app.
3. Having said all that, having worked in the weather industry, it is good to see weather maps that have not dumbed down for the masses and shows real usable data.
4. It's still great.Fairly irritated to realize that this app is literally just a shell containing the windy weather app with some small and in my case generally unused additions to the interface.
5. Layers are logically separated and you mostly see 1 thing at a time! Good job!I use this app in conjunction with the weather app that comes on my phone.
6. Id like to pick and choose which are priority for me.. Second, a more animated and drawn screen widget would be great.
7. Takes a few minutes to choose what data you want displayed on main screen.
8. Controls are confusing, map shows options for layers on left & right of screen? What is the difference? Glad there are no ads.
9. I was looking for something that gave me radar, and this is it, but it's not super intuitive to use (I'd like to find a clear way to show storms on the radar and I'm not sure the difference between the two radar selection screens).
10. One of the problems with apps that handle this much data is overcrowding, getting the screen so busy that you can't read anything.
11. If you want to see other states for travel, simply fill in the zip code and/or state as multiple zip codes can be observed.
