1. UPDATE: Works better on my ChromebkThis app is better than all others if you want advanced weather information like surface wind, jet streams, fronts and pressure sytems, earthquakes, wildfires, and the like.
2. Assuming I have my phone's Location turned on, the app will text me, informing that moderate to heavy rain is likely within fifteen minutes, and it could be overwith in 45 minutes.
3. This was my "go to" weather app primarily for the real time lightning bolts indicating lightning strikes - a feature I really loved.
4. Letting me know when rain or weather is approaching my current location is my favorite feature.
5. Some settings need to be editable, such as the brightness of the lightning flashes, the size and color of the lightning markers, and other things.
6. It only serves to frustrate me all the more.Bought the Pro version over 2 years ago, only to see they've changed the model and now you have to pay monthly for a pro subscription.
7. Hopefully, they will be able to keep the price reasonable. It seems pretty accurate overall, and the maps and information available is pretty great.
8. Even with me having outside for it, I stopped using it in favor of less heavy power consuming, better UI weather apps.
9. The maps are vivid, layers are definable (including transparency); and I get notifications the way I want them, without annoying push notifications I don't need.
10. When you first open the app on a phone, the top 1/10 of the screen shows the location name.
11. I paid for a couple of the extra features, and they've been worthwhile (though it's been so long i cant remember which).
