1. adding a local police scanner would be the only way to make better.The app is good the only thing I don't like is the notification pop-ups keeping coming saying I have options to subscribe for premium but already I am on premiumThis app works great buy I don't like the ad's that pop's upStupid! It really only works if someone calls in and says where they are and the ads.This app has totally changed the way I move around town.

All that this application needs is more users marking where we see activity, so ppl approaching can more safely travel and avoid hindering our public safety workersI know this is something that can't be fixed but the only fault or down fall to the app is you can pin where the police and whatever else you want at a location that is falseSome of the places the app says the are at is not accurate .

4. I like this app alot, I think that what most of the ppl who are posting negative reviews don't seem to understand is that it it's user driven, which means that when you see a patrol vehicle you tap where on the map you saw it.

1. Fix Police Detector Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Police Detector: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Police Detector App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Police Detector" » Open Police Detector - Speed Radar » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Police Detector » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Police Detector - Speed Radar app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Police Detector servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Police Detector - Speed Radar" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Police Detector app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Police Detector might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Police Detector. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Police Detector then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Police Detector not working

2. Fix Police Detector Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Police Detector be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Police Detector not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Police Detector may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
