3. This remote control app allows you to control your Samsung Smart TV over the local network.
4. It is tested with Samsung K-series Tizen TVs (2016 and later) and C, D, E, F, H, J (manufactured between 2010 - 2015) TVs with network (LAN or WiFi) interface.
5. The function "Remote Control" in the settings of the TV must be enabled)!
6. If there is no such setting, then sadly your TV does not support remote control over network.
7. Make sure your television and phone or tablet are connected to the same local network.
8. App must be set as allowed remote application in the Allshare settings of the TV.
9. This app will work only then when your phone and TV are both on the same local network!

1. Was highly recommend, but no longer works for my older model.Excellent remote app! At your first attempt to connect you have to manually hit the enter button on the bottom of the Samsung TV to allow the connection (if the request pops up on the TV screen, that is), but after that the connection remains stable, and best of all - NO ADS!! It's perfect! If you have trouble keeping it connected and it always asks you to allow the connection on the TV, go to Settings, General, Device Connection Manager, edit the list & delete them ALL! Now connect & it works!Literally worked within 15 seconds on my samsung 70", 55", and 42" smart tvs.
2. Still gonna give them a 3 since I liked the layout of the remote though, and hoping this doesn't bring down the rating too much, as it seems to work fine for a lot of others, but sheds some light on a problem that at least one person has had.Works like a charm, easy to sync up, just had to allow connection on my tv and it works perfectly.
3. I run my sound through a soundbar that works on my regular tv remote's volume and mute buttons but i haven't been able to figure out how to transfer that capability to this apps remote.
4. I haven't had issues yet with the remote not responding.Didn't work for me, kept attempting to pair but no matter how many times I approved the connection on the TV, it just didn't happen.
5. The size of the interface is great and the scroll works well to navigate from the top of the remote to the bottom to use all the buttons.
6. As for this remote app, I find it works significantly better than other apps I've tried.
7. The funny thing is that the app actually works better than the original remote worked.
8. If I had to find a criticism it would be that there is fractional input lag but that is just splitting hairs.Download this app if you need a remote for your TV.
9. Used to look and work exactly like my regular remote, and was super handy when I misplace it.
10. Only note is I wish there was an update that more closely resembles the current remote with fewer buttons.
11. It kinda sucks that you will have to grant it permission all the time to use it regularly which would be no good if you lost your real remote.
