1. The selection could be wider, but I am glad two free magazines and/or newspapers are offered once checked in.The all worked fine until I was in the plane, then it kept crashing so I could not read the magazines I downloaded! Does it require internet access on the plane to function?!?This is my third cinsecutive trips and I'm not able to downloaded any newspaper because the app don't recognize the check in.

2. TAP should verify the quality of services offered to guests.I added my flight ticket through reservation code yesterday, download a magazine and newspaper.

3. Reservation is linked to my account and doesn't recognizer it to allow me to download before the flight on flight day after check-in.

4. Not app specific but has very limited choice to download compared to previous options from tap or from current competitors in star alliance.App works fine.

5. I have tried login in with both my TAP account number and through the booking reservation code and got the same message: "There was an unexpected error".

6. I'm entitled to download but can't download... Useless, bring back the old tap app that worked for both tablets and phones.Almost as feeble as the airline itself.

8. Its a good idea but simply doesn't work.Imagine an app that makes you think, ah, nice, paper free way of reading the news.

10. Does not allow me to add the reservation manually because "it has already been added".

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix TAP Media Issues

1. Fix TAP Media Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart TAP Media: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the TAP Media App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "TAP Media" » Open TAP Media » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for TAP Media » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear TAP Media app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from TAP Media servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "TAP Media" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check TAP Media app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, TAP Media might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall TAP Media. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall TAP Media then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing TAP Media not working


2. Fix TAP Media Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make TAP Media be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to TAP Media not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, TAP Media may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
