1. I paid for the add free version, but apparently google doesn't track that for this app like it does for other ones.Though this has been my preferred weather app, I am disappointed that my purchase of the ad-free version seems to provide only temporary relief from ads.
2. Others just give time and level for high and low tide.My exact location (house) does show up on the maps, but it will not tell local weather forecasts or temps.
3. It shows exactly what all the local weather broadcasts follow, and gives me an easy to use, accurate place to go for current and future weather.
4. I'm definitely switching over to this app instead of IBM's weather app, but it took me a good 5-10 minutes to figure out how to see hourly forecasts and tide charts for my location.
5. I installed the recommended update and the app is back to working well.I have always had a great experience with this app, always seems more accurate than any other free version I have tried.
6. After the last update, the current weather at the top of the weekly forecast now displays the conditions at the forecasting station, almost 20 miles away.
7. I live on the Cumberland Plateau & the weather & temps can be very different than the forecast area it shows.
8. NOAA weather data is by far the most accurate.
9. This makes it harder to pinpoint backcountry locations for point forecasts.Update: now that I've been looking at it again, navigating the app makes more sense.
10. UPDATE: The software publisher responded quickly and advised of a change in NOAA image delivery.
11. It seems to be about the only app that gives any indication of the current tide level, which is what I was looking for.
