1. What must I do since I really need this app?This would be a perfect app if there was a pause feature, estimations on custom fares and if customations could be done on the premium feature of this app for eg say a ride is $15 plus tips; if you hit the pay button on the app and get routed to the square app we cant addthe tip to the $15 it will be entered as $15 on the square app and a seperate transaction should be made for the tip which is an inconvenienceThis app need more improvement,it does not indicate start point and also receipts appears in a different currency even those you change currency to that of your country.

2. Also need to add dates and time to ride history .... Sometimes this is very importantIt's v.disguesting that it starts advertising on the updated version.When I first downloaded this app everything was just fine but I lost my phone now I downloaded it again in my new phone but it's not performing well, it's not giving me the option of choosing whether Uber X or Uber black, in short there's nothing and I have to customize myself but still it's not giving the accurate fare.

3. That's approaching what Hulu and Spotify charge us and those are multi million dollar companies.The app is good, but the button to "End Ride" is really bad.

4. When it is working it is great, but it needs to update automatically instead of freezing up each time there is a change or factory update.

5. I have to use Google maps while using this appThe new version is highly inaccurate interms of distance(km).

6. The previous version was fine please make it availableRates are like 2 years old.

8. I'd be willing to pay a one time $10 fee or 99¢ a month.

10. I don't know how old this app is & I don't know why I didn't find it much much sooner because I ABSOLUTELY looked for an app to do this exact thing a year ago.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Meter Issues

1. Fix Meter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Meter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Meter App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Meter" » Open Meter for Taxis » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Meter » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Meter for Taxis app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Meter servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Meter for Taxis" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Meter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Meter might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Meter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Meter then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Meter not working


2. Fix Meter Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Meter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Meter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Meter may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
