Roger Customer Insights

1. Only one ticket can be valid at any one time and if you uninstall & reinstall to try to correct app issues you lose all your purchased tickets which is just criminal.

2. I have also experienced disappearing tickets.Worse than that, during a ticket inspection on the bus the app failed to open and I was left with a fine of €66.

3. I used to recommend this app to friends travelling within Italy, and was a fan myself, but unfortunately I can no longer recommend it after I was fined 77 euros for not being able to validate the ticket due to an error message on the app.

4. It is since years that I didn't have troubles buying online and it will be the first time I am requesting my card issuer to get a refund (1.5€). 🤦🏼 ♂️ Seems totally absurd, but ya, it is still my money and it is not how it should work online.

5. And what is more when you try to buy another ticket after a reinstall, it doesn't appear in your tickets.

6. 🤨 Better to buy the traditional paper ticket 🎟️Very Bad app, i will never recommend any body to use it.

8. You can't validate your ticket in the bus, the ticket is deleted forever if you try to clear cache.

9. that said, the problem should not have occurred in the first place and inspection staff should have been properly trained to assist the client.Terrible app.

10. I mean it lets you to buy more than one individual tickets, though then the app will not allow you to validate the tickets just bought.

11. The ticket expired at midnight of the same day and I couldn't use it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Roger Issues

1. Fix Roger Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Roger: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Roger App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Roger" » Open Roger » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Roger » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Roger app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Roger servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Roger" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Roger app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Roger might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Roger. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Roger then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Roger not working


2. Fix Roger Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Roger be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Roger not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Roger may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
