MyGov Customer Insights

1. Plese keep data encrypted.Whenever I try to upload my profile or try to post any comments on the ongoing discussiins, always an error pops up and it requests me to 'try again later...'User friendly, engaging, latest updates quite a useful application.One of the best initiative provided by Government of India.

2. Currently I have to rely on the website to do anything because it feels more reliable.This use to be good byt now its too slow and not responding to any commands i was trying to update my profile it shows something went wrong and just kept loading.

3. I have tried to delete and reinstall the app but problem not resolved.Dear team,it has very slow process of updating data and sometimes it start with no updation please work on itWrost app.

4. Dear Team, on accessing the app everytime, it asks for profile update where state and city always comes blank even though I have updated it many a times.

5. Keep the momentum rolling Team!The app UI looks very cluttered when the phone is set to Dark mode.

6. Also, would like to suggest that the UI design is too cluttered and can be a bit easier for navigation and clutter free visually.Dear sir, I am not able to login since April 23 3rd week.

7. On top of that, most of the times the app stops working and gets hanged while uploading the profile.

8. Too bad experience website is good ngl.The app is closing every time I try to open it.

9. Error is coming "something went wrong please try again later".

10. Rest all features are mind blowing and very useful.

11. Please improve the Dark mode UI so that people who use it can also use the app easily.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MyGov Issues

1. Fix MyGov Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MyGov: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MyGov App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MyGov" » Open MyGov » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MyGov » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MyGov app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MyGov servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MyGov" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MyGov app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MyGov might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MyGov. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MyGov then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MyGov not working


2. Fix MyGov Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MyGov be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MyGov not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MyGov may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
