1. Does not give the ability to change, or view information like the actual webpage account does, such as, viewing inquiry, or even benefit maintenance.... If only an update were made that added these two features... That would make this app complete, would also be VERY MUCH appreciated by MANY surely.This glitch has NOT been fixed! The glitch? After tapping on "Weekly Certification," it doesn't open, so you must tap 2 or 3 more times to open it (this happens often and is annoying).

2. If the app gave some kind of indication of what is going on, or tells you to try back later, then it would top notch.Easy to use, very simple, but doesn't have a full MDES webpage experience, yes it's compacted for the mobile version.

3. The answers I select dont show and i have to repeat selections at least six or seven times before i can e sign my certification.No issues for the first several weeks until I accidentally entered incorrect password.

4. Now with the questions added my work search records are needed to be input again? I dont get this process, plus by the time you go back and forth to re record my job searches the app times out and i have to start over.

5. Went back to file my weekly certification and nothing was in the journal and yes I saved them.The app is slow, sometimes it will not change screens, and you have to "force stop" the app to log out.

6. Overall this is a very up to date easy method of entering and receiving unemployment insurance.This app is decent most of the times, but can have a very bad defaults.

7. Sometimes this app freezes, not able to submit work search at times, and constantly kicks you out the app leaving everything blank and causing you to start over from beginning.

8. When you begin to answer the first question, it says "Answering question one is mandatory." You CAN'T answer question one, because you have to hit the back arrow once, twice, three times to answer question one.

9. The rolling date method for adding job inquiries can be frustrating since the years go back way beyond the current year.

10. The only problem that I've run into has been when the site is down for maintenance or for whatever reason, the app doesn't give you notice of what is going on with the site or that it is down.

11. This app minimizes the time spent completing the weekly certification.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix 2 File UI Issues

1. Fix 2 File UI Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart 2 File UI: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the 2 File UI App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "2 File UI" » Open 2 File UI » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for 2 File UI » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear 2 File UI app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from 2 File UI servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "2 File UI" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check 2 File UI app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, 2 File UI might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall 2 File UI. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall 2 File UI then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing 2 File UI not working


2. Fix 2 File UI Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make 2 File UI be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to 2 File UI not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, 2 File UI may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
