Why should I report an Issue with BARD Mobile?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of Library Of Congress to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. Audible is far superior.Could be better if there was an option to turn off autoplay when entering a book, the player didn't continue playing if headphones are disconnected, the app took advantage of things like swiping on a title to provide an option to deleting it and the online user guide online clearly indicated it's for iOS only and your out of luck if your on Android and confused about something.

2. I also feel that the more info button that appears after every book title is just redundant it makes for more difficult experience to search through the titles.

3. A new search engine which could take you to a book list so that you don't have to read through pages and pages of the entire book descriptions before you can find your title.

4. Every time you save a title to your wishlist, you are taken to an unnecessary options page which requires you to hit the back button to return to the book list.

5. I constantly hit the back or forward button on my headset when I am trying to press the stop/play button and it takes me forever to find my place again because it jumps back to the previous chapter.Fabulous upgrade from the cassets sent through the mail.

6. I would request that the settings be updated to include being able to set the "part", "chapter" "bookmark" or "phrase" to which ever one is most convenient for the user as the default setting.

7. Having books on your phone can't be beat for portability.This is not user friendly and it only provides access to half as many audiobooks as Audible.

8. A few days later, I tried to listen more and keep getting an error message that the book failed to load.

9. I have been using it for years, and it makes getting books from the Library for the Blind super easy.

10. I guess I can't complain too much since it's free...I have been using bard mobile for several years now and I feel that this app has gone from a five-star down to a two star.

11. I get that they're trying to streamline the app, but they need to find a way to add this function back in.I find the application very convenient and user friendly.

1. Fix BARD Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart BARD: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the BARD App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BARD" » Open BARD Mobile » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BARD » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear BARD Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BARD servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BARD Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check BARD app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BARD might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall BARD. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BARD then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BARD not working

2. Fix BARD Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BARD be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BARD not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BARD may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
