FlixTrain Customer Insights

1. Even if you do not pay attention to that it is slow, it is so non-informative and not user friendly! Why do you allow me to select a city and then wait for a search result (yes, it takes time) if there is no such connection??? I've chosen 2 adults and 1 child, why do you show 'Reserve 4 sits'? How do I know that I pay for 3 (or okay, for adults only)?The service is poor.

2. Stuck using DB for the foreseeable future I guess 🙄The trains get cancelled or extremely delayed on the regular bases but the app doesn't give any notification about it and doesn't actively show the delay.

3. It brings up a calendar of greyed out dates with no option to cancel off the screen and the back button doesn't work.

4. I booked in different occasions and there was always delay, but today was over de limit, 2 hours is a lot for not sending a message or email to the costumers, that I think is the minimum you can do in this cases.You cannot select any dates.

5. The app is still not fully developed, don't use it if you want to keep your money (or sanity).The booking is easy, although for some reason i could not pay with a bank trasfer/debit card.

6. Why not combine this with the flix bus app? feels very unneccesary.Booked via website, but tickets don't show up after login.

7. Also no option to logout (login occurred automatically probably corresponding to my Google, but there should be the option to use another account...). Edit: They show up in the Flixbus app.

8. I do not understand how to use it.When paying for the trains I had reserved, the booking was cancelled but the paypal order still went through.

9. Don't get the point of this extra app then.I'm looking for the train, but application replies bus connections.

10. WiFi doesn't work when there's too many people onboard.

11. After setting start time in filter it suggests to book more places, than I requested.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix FlixTrain Issues

1. Fix FlixTrain Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart FlixTrain: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the FlixTrain App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FlixTrain" » Open FlixTrain - quickly and comfor » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FlixTrain » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear FlixTrain - quickly and comfor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FlixTrain servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FlixTrain - quickly and comfor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check FlixTrain app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FlixTrain might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall FlixTrain. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FlixTrain then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FlixTrain not working


2. Fix FlixTrain Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FlixTrain be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FlixTrain not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FlixTrain may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
