Why should I report an Issue with Nextcloud News?

1. You can also manage your subscriptions through the app, including autodetecting feeds on websites that support it, and importing subscriptions from an OPML file.Good! Mimics the browser app nicely! Not sure if I'm experiencing a bug or a feature though: I can't view read articles at all.

Can not add folder from appFantastic app, but recent change to the way articles are being displayed is a no-go for me ;( I used to have articles topics [and nothing more] configured to be displayed with one of the display option, but now none of these option seem to do that, with one, max two lines of the topic and nothing more.

4. Edit: I was expecting an experience closer to the browser app (where read articles stay for as long as they are in the rss feed), but that was an incorrect assumtion.

5. Hopefully this can be overcome so that it will keep read articles for a week, or maybe with a limit of 10, 25, or 50 read articles per feed.

6. Everything was sorted after I uninstalled the app and installed it again and synced the news feed.1. It does not load pictures in some feeds, like in podcast "Darknet Diaries", or some times loads totaly incorrect picture.

7. Read articles disappear (by design per response below from 2020).

8. Works exactly like you’d expect, down to swiping gestures to save/archive posts from the list view, or flip through article view, and matches the system light/dark theme by default.

9. Well designed app otherwise and performs very well (assuming your Nextcloud server is performing well of course)App was crashing making it unusable after updating to 0.9.9.36 (Not sure if this is the last version cause this as I'm not too often was using it).

10. All of my news sources are rss feeds, and after I've read them, they are gone forever, it seems.

11. Is there a way to re-add it to the app as a separate option? I've got TONS of RSS channels and scrolling them with details beneath a topic is a pain and takes much more time :/Good app, but needs two things: 1.

1. Fix Nextcloud News Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Nextcloud News: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Nextcloud News App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Nextcloud News" » Open Nextcloud News » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Nextcloud News » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Nextcloud News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Nextcloud News servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Nextcloud News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Nextcloud News app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Nextcloud News might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Nextcloud News. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Nextcloud News then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Nextcloud News not working

2. Fix Nextcloud News Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Nextcloud News be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Nextcloud News not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Nextcloud News may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
