Why should I report an Issue with KATWARN?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

However, app productivity shrinked and bad customer support, so I removed the app and using another one.Edit: guardian mode does work now... but a little too well ... 24 bings "guadian Mode is available" within 2 minutes, 10 minutes after leaving my house (still in the area i chose as one of my favorites) Would be great to have a setting that makes "hello your guardian mode is available" silent :)Unfortunately didn't work for me... the notifications for my location, when opening the app (which again showed the correct location) never showed the warning listed in the app.App freezes in many cases like location selection, deletion, warn signal test.

2. Edit: update installed, looks like it stopped now, big relief!20+ notifications in one hour about guardian angel location services being available.

3. Has anybody actually ever been warned by this thing? Or does it just send senseless notifications about a guardian, who doesn't guard anything except the location? Android 11, latest Katwarn update is installed.

4. Update: disabling Guardian Angel isn't enough, I'm getting bombarded with these location services is now available notifications, I've had to uninstall Katwarn.

5. They also don't seem to read their reviews either so this is pointless.This is it, I will now finally uninstall the app - Guardian Angel still spams about 90 notifications a day, even after the update and when it's deactivated.

6. Impression of not thorough testing.Latest update broke the app such that it keeps sending guardian angel notifications.

7. 'Location services are available - guardian is being activated.' This notification appears multiple times per day, for weeks on end.

8. I had to disable guardian angel to avoid the excessive notifications - none of which were weather/environmental.

9. They gave me a list of about 15 checks to do myself on my phone instead of solving or troubleshoot the problem on their side because accordingly to customer feedback others having similar update issue.

10. Other than these notifications, the app doesn't seem to do anything.

11. Besides, the app failed to warn about severe storms in my area a few days ago.

1. Fix KATWARN Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart KATWARN: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the KATWARN App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "KATWARN" » Open KATWARN » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for KATWARN » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear KATWARN app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from KATWARN servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "KATWARN" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check KATWARN app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, KATWARN might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall KATWARN. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall KATWARN then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing KATWARN not working

2. Fix KATWARN Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make KATWARN be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to KATWARN not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, KATWARN may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
