Zumper Customer Insights

1. I had a lot of issues with the website (verified identity several times but still doesn't allow listing and asks again for activation), then turned to this app for maybe a better experience but after logging in it gets stuck in terms and condition page and doesn't go anyware, nothing to click to process.

2. And the way it is designed, whoever designed this app, you kick-butt! It will be hard for anyone to top this! Somebody has finally got their game on! Thanks Zumper for making shopping or just browsing simple,fun and stress-free!I do find it confusing and not good to set up notifications for areas but that's okay.

3. Or someone like me who is not tech savvy and doesn't really know how to navigate a phone well getting into or finding emails is hard.

4. Another when in recent, a cheap rental price, paid deposit and first rent, but haven't gotten the keys and papers for it in over a week or so, no return calls.

5. I even applied to a couple places my first time using it! Great app, easy to navigate and understand.

6. Went over to the place for a open viewing, turns out their was a person already living there! I messaged the person that supposedly that was offering the place to be rented, and stated it was already rented.

7. Wish you could have the option of getting an email back or text message to your phone letting you know the details or getting more information about the home or apartment you are looking for.

8. Its conditionalAt first I thought it was going to have a bunch of super expensive apartments with all kinds of ridiculous, unattainable requirements to even be considered.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Zumper Issues

1. Fix Zumper Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Zumper: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Zumper App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Zumper" » Open Zumper - Apartment Finder » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Zumper » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Zumper - Apartment Finder app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Zumper servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Zumper - Apartment Finder" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Zumper app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Zumper might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Zumper. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Zumper then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Zumper not working


2. Fix Zumper Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Zumper be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Zumper not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Zumper may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
