Why should I report an Issue with VICE?

1. Trying to watch my favorite Vice News Tonight news casts but now can't cast full screen using Chromecast (the phone's screen and icons are visible around the video even in landscape view), intrusive ads play louder volume than the show, no autoplay from night to night.

2. A lack of an internal website search bar and and being forced to scroll through and load numerous links to articles I don't wish to click on makes the application unnavigable.

3. There are several pages that reroute to the turbovote registration site and that do not allow people to click on and open articles or search for them.The ap forgets my interests and will always show me "life" which is spammed horoscopes.

4. Content is good, but the app seems to be showing its age.I want to be able to use a search bar to find the articles or videos on your website.

5. You overemphasized the appearance and you have made your application such that I have to continuously scroll down a list rather than read the author's articles I want to read.

6. That should have been fixed a LONG time ago! Sometimes it just crashes for no reason too.the app for the last couple of months shows every article with the present date.

7. Bring back the old pre-April '21 VNT app.Lately you open the app, click on an article, it opens and seconds later it crashes... This happens all the time now and with every article.

8. Extremely annoying when trying to read up to date articles on any subject.

9. It's hard to find videos and articles even with very specific keywords and there's no skip feature which is really annoying.

10. I also want to complain that in making your website link everywhere to turbovote you have made the website unnavigable.

1. Fix VICE Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart VICE: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the VICE App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "VICE" » Open VICE » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for VICE » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear VICE app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VICE servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VICE" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check VICE app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VICE might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall VICE. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall VICE then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing VICE not working

2. Fix VICE Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make VICE be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to VICE not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, VICE may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
