1. Examples: the search doesn't work (e.g. searching for hair salons in Beacon, NY will give you results in NY, NJ, and CT), the map doesn't work (any attempt to zoom or pan automatically will reset the map or close it), and searching by business doesn't work.

2. More importantly, I was trying to upload a required picture through a form and it completely erased all my progress on the appointment I was trying to book, causing me to start over by searching fpr the salon again.

3. There is no "calendar view" for scheduled appointments and the list view is difficult to read because there is too much info in each appointment listing (like the venue's photo, which shouldn't be appearing with every scheduled appointment).

4. I'd recommend just calling the business directly to book an appointment, it'll save you lots of headache because this app is essentially unusable.

5. I loved using it to book my hair appointments and tattoos.

6. I search my town, and a place that I know has a Vagaro listing doesn't show up.

7. Fortunately my providers have left salons that use this app and I no longer have to struggle with performance quality.The two stars are for the years of great service I experienced, until now.

8. Nothing shows up on my screen and I can't book appointments.

9. I have contacted 3-4 different customer service representatives and after they realized it was NOT "user error" as they previously suggested - all I get is "it's fixed".

11. I hope it gets corrected soon.This app does not perform well over WiFi or in areas with poor cell signal; which is a majority of what I have access to.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Vagaro Issues

1. Fix Vagaro Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Vagaro: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Vagaro App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Vagaro" » Open Vagaro » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Vagaro » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Vagaro app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Vagaro servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Vagaro" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Vagaro app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Vagaro might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Vagaro. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Vagaro then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Vagaro not working


2. Fix Vagaro Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Vagaro be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Vagaro not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Vagaro may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
