1. Click to finalize and get a blank screen for 10 minutes before getting kicked offline.I really don't care for the pharmacy part of the app, because it rarely updates correctly, and there isn't an option to do fast pickup or whatever it's called if you have insurance and there is no charge for your meds.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Walgreens Issues

1. Fix Walgreens Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Walgreens: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Walgreens App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Walgreens" » Open Walgreens » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Walgreens » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Walgreens app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Walgreens servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Walgreens" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Walgreens app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Walgreens might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Walgreens. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Walgreens then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Walgreens not working


2. Fix Walgreens Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Walgreens be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Walgreens not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Walgreens may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

Hello, I have spent several full days on hold or getting the runaround at both the corporate and store level and I cannot seem to figure out how to get my issue resolved. I have a prescription which in my app is marked "cancelling". I was told there is nothing hanging on my account and no prescriptions filled. Yet in my app, my prescription is frozen and I am unable to transfer it to my new pharmacy. I need to have this cleared out. It has been over a week now that I can't access my rx. Please fix this and let me know when it is done. Honestly, and without malice, this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had and I am tired. Please take care of this. I have a screenshot i can send showing that there actually is something being held up under my account. My name is Jason Grabinger, DOB 4/13/1982 Thank you.
