Why should I report an Issue with Hammer: Truck GPS & Maps?

1. it's just sometimes the fuel prices are not current and when I have to alter my routes ; it takes a while for the app to catch up to my current correct location and sequence of turns..if you have time to go to another fuel point or know where about your next approximate turn is, this isn't a major problem.I would like for you to update the satellite images to help identify landmarks and destinations.

2. I use Samsung s23 ultra, I have to restart my phone every time it freezesI like it and have used it for a while but it freezes a lot and puts me through a lot of no trucks allowed and residential areas.

3. Third, in the turn directions it will tell to turn left or right on x road but doesn't say wither it's n, s,e , or west.

4. I checked one route and it took me down two weight limited roads when there is a road to take that is faster and a truck route.

5. Some other bugs such as a blank turn display box on my phone and some other issues like remembering my HM placard settings.

6. Minus the residential areas and having me go through no truck zones is annoying since the app I know won't pay for any ticket I get because of it.I wish I could add images to describe this, but this app is not good at navigating, at least in the Buffalo area.

7. And the last thing is that it freezes my phone when I try to exit the navigation.

8. My issue with the app is that it doesn't say the exit number or the name of the exit.

9. And last, when you choose your destination, I see a route, but then it turns red white and green.

10. It just says in a quarter mile, stay right and take the exit or stay left, and take the exit.

11. For example, in a quarter mile, take exit 70 for Main Street.

1. Fix Hammer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Hammer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Hammer App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hammer" » Open Hammer: Truck GPS & Maps » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hammer » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Hammer: Truck GPS & Maps app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hammer servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hammer: Truck GPS & Maps" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Hammer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hammer might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Hammer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hammer then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hammer not working

2. Fix Hammer Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hammer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hammer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hammer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
