1. This garbage app is difficult to use for a host of other reasons.The app is ok as far as communicating with your incarcerated loved! But trying to contact customer service if you have an issue with your account is very frustrating! Almost impossible! I think I just lucked up 1 time.

2. The customer service number provided for customer service, don't even bother wasting your time with it it's a automated system! I sent 2 emails earlier yesterday afternoon it said someone will contact you shortly, well I'm still waiting!It won't work on my Android anymore.

3. Now I literally can't stand to even open it! It crashes within seconds, freezes while I'm typing, and then kicks me out and I have to start all over, it's beyond frustrating I pay close to 1k a month with calls and messages/video for absolutely nothing please fix your stupid app and I'll edit my review until then zero stars (Google is suggesting I have to pick one of the stars to leave this comment)This would get a negative review if possible.

4. I sent screenshots and screen recordings of the issues and they still "can't help me due to lack of info"This is a large collection of bugs, glitches, freezing up, and downtime, with apparently just enough actual coding inserted, to be called an app.

5. I follow all the directions and when I hit photos it sends me right back to the very beginning of my account page! This app does not work at all for me.

6. I have clicked the confirm email option in the email they sent me with no luck it doesn't work.

7. wish someone would come out with a better system since they don't seem to want to fix this one but it's the only option I have right now.I agree with other people who have reviewed this app, it hasn't worked at all for me.

8. The messages work fine on both, although it does freeze occasionally, but it sucks not being able to get my visits now.

9. I have also contacted support & customer service multiple times & only received one generic reply saying that I did not provide enough information for them to assist.

1. Fix GTL | GettingOut Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart GTL | GettingOut: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the GTL | GettingOut App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GTL | GettingOut" » Open GTL | GettingOut » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GTL | GettingOut » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear GTL | GettingOut app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GTL | GettingOut servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GTL | GettingOut" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check GTL | GettingOut app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GTL | GettingOut might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall GTL | GettingOut. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GTL | GettingOut then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GTL | GettingOut not working

2. Fix GTL | GettingOut Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GTL | GettingOut be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GTL | GettingOut not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GTL | GettingOut may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
