Hurricane Tracker Customer Insights

1. Now, "tweak" the app so it will immediately provide location specific info to ME during MY emergency / dangerous weather event every time I open the app, THEN you will be providing the most indispensable of all emergancy weather apps out there!!It is convenient to tap on an app and get basically most of the information one would look for with named storms.

2. No notifications getting pushed to my phone (despite all other push notifications for other apps doing so), and storms 'hanging' on the app for days after they ended.

3. It's so rare that any of them have any current information that it's not worth the time to check them all multiple times a day.I used to really like and appreciate this app because it would send notifications and help me to prepare for storms.

4. They then removed all of the great graphics I originally paid for and was accustomed to only to now charge twenty five dollars a year.

5. This app does nothing more than link/repost graphics from sights like the national weather service.

6. A shame, as it was a really good app.I'm a weather geek who as a kid tracked hurricanes with a pen and a paper map that the TV stations handed out.

7. Seems over the last few months the push notifications stopped.

8. I don't watch fake news media as all the weather reports they do are sensationalized and fear mongering.

9. Don't waste your money Original review : App is quite expensive for being limited to only 3 regions for notifications.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Hurricane Tracker Issues

1. Fix Hurricane Tracker Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Hurricane Tracker: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Hurricane Tracker App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hurricane Tracker" » Open Hurricane Tracker » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hurricane Tracker » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Hurricane Tracker app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hurricane Tracker servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hurricane Tracker" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Hurricane Tracker app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hurricane Tracker might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Hurricane Tracker. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hurricane Tracker then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hurricane Tracker not working


2. Fix Hurricane Tracker Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hurricane Tracker be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hurricane Tracker not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hurricane Tracker may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hello again,

    I DO NOT have this app at all. I do not know what this app is for. It charged me 89.99 on my card. I DO not live in a city or state that has hurricanes. According to the link that was given, it shows updates on hurricanes. I also DO NOT play children's games! I have no login information on your app. PLEASE consider refunding the 89.99 that was taken from my account.

  • My card had been compromised. I did not request this app, yet I was charged 89.99 from my account. I do not live in a hurricane state. I do not have an account with this app. If you find any subscription from me, please cancel immediately.
