1. The Max Tracker Hurricane app is powered by WPLG’s Chief Certified Meteorologist Betty Davis, Hurricane and Storm Surge Specialist Michael Lowry, and a team of certified meteorologists bringing you the latest and most accurate information on developing tropical systems.
2. Keep your family safe, download the free app today.
1. They just give you radar images that display too much of a time span and you can't determine present or upcoming weather.
2. We all know things can change a lot within a few hours time so it would be useful to know if things we are looking at or reading reflects the 8:00 a.m. advisory or the 5:00 p.m. advisory.Great-live in FL- use all summer to keep me up to date on threats!! Updated 7-2-2021.
3. Since then, I cannot zoom in or out on the local radar page using the usual two-finger method.
4. I get frustrated with other weather apps having to search for information on a hurricane or tropical storm.
5. With that said, the one feature that I'd like to see, and the reason I give it 4*s, is adding the time and the ability to pause, stop and start the local radar.
6. The iPhone version of this app had the most accurate radar available up to 5 minutes before the current time.
7. Please fix that.*** Update: the notifications we receive on our S9+ are only partial & clicking in the notification sends you to the storm's page that has no connection to the notification nor what the rest of the sentence was.
8. If you tap on the notification it just takes you directly to the page with various options for following current weather, or weather stories.
9. I can zoom in ONLY, by double tapping the screen, and can only return to the normal view by closing the radar display then reopening it.
10. Being a pilot, I heavily depend on accurate weather to be able to make safe decisions regarding my flights, and I use several sources to be able to get an accurate picture of what the weather is like before and during each flight.
11. Highly recommended. My radar starts with how things were & doesn't stop until some point in the future.
On the Local Radar page, is there any possible way to add a time frame indicator to alert us when a storm is coming and what has past? It would be very helpful. Thank you.
