I have to search for the book every time.I downloaded it, thinking it was like the website (which is free by the way,) and loved the idea of having a handy app for when I'm doing home work on-the-go, only to find out that if you want to acess anything at all you have to pay for a subscription, which isn't worth the effort if you can just use the website.

9. This app does everything you expect it to for a fraction of the price you'd pay for a single study guide, giving you access for a whole year.

10. SparkNotes shows $.99/month and $4.99/yr for subscriptions within the application.

1. Fix SparkNotes Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SparkNotes: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SparkNotes App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SparkNotes" » Open SparkNotes » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SparkNotes » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SparkNotes app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SparkNotes servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SparkNotes" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SparkNotes app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SparkNotes might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SparkNotes. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SparkNotes then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SparkNotes not working

2. Fix SparkNotes Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SparkNotes be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SparkNotes not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SparkNotes may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
