1. You have to exit and reopen the gallery links to get it to fully load, news stories sometimes won't load, adds will cut off a story and you'll have to close it and reopen it just to get it to load, and other things of that nature.I couldn't get pictures to download from the app so I deleted it and tried to reinstall.

2. Stays stuck on loading screen.Was working fine, will not open and times out now since last updateUsed to love this app, but it won't open since the last updatei love E! News so much but the app is extremely buggy and it makes it hard to want to be on it.

3. Uninstalling its too frustrating to keep.I like that E!News keeps me informed and updated on what's happening! Without it I'm behind in the latest info.The app quit working.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix E! News Issues

1. Fix E! News Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart E! News: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the E! News App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "E! News" » Open E! News » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for E! News » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear E! News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from E! News servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "E! News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check E! News app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, E! News might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall E! News. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall E! News then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing E! News not working


2. Fix E! News Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make E! News be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to E! News not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, E! News may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
