1. Not from my gallery, not from caches/ thumbnail data on other program files.... Didn't seem possible to modify search parametersThis app seems great but it's not It needs permission to access the notifications but my type of fone doesn't have that feature unless u have a smarter device and it can't restore texts that were deleted before u download this So basically u have to wait until a message was deleted until it will 'work'Doesn't do anything.

Then to top it off hadls a permanent notification which you can't swipe off telling you nothing and wasting space.For me it's mainly loosing phones and initially my concern has always been getting another phone.Its only recently that I am concious Abt the important and private conversations that I lost but at the time the actual tool was more important than the data I have lostA very useless app.

1. Fix Recover Chat Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Recover Chat: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Recover Chat App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Recover Chat" » Open Recover Chat for WA - Messages » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Recover Chat » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Recover Chat for WA - Messages app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Recover Chat servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Recover Chat for WA - Messages" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Recover Chat app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Recover Chat might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Recover Chat. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Recover Chat then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Recover Chat not working

2. Fix Recover Chat Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Recover Chat be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Recover Chat not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Recover Chat may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
