1. I need that because I want to delete all the random stuff I get from WhatsApp, and the app won't let me exclude the WhatsApp directory from backup FWIW the thumbs for the videos (ironically) load fine 🤷 ♂️This product is limited and flakey, at best.... The whole point is to back your stuff up (at least until you can offload important phones files (videos, pictures, documents), and it can't even get that right! Videos, by nature, are bigger files.

2. So I like the computer program, but the android app is a mystery to me.Good enough interface but have encountered several instances when the system froze and I was unable to backup any files at all even after reformatting my entire account.

6. Within minutes of downloading something or taking a photo it's syncing itself (if you choose) but it truly does sync properly and across your devices it divides your files accordingly, it doesn't just shove them into one place.

7. (iDrive works fairly well on the computer, Safe & reliable)________ A HINT- You first backup from the phone may take a long time and could use lots of your expensive data minutes.

8. Subsequent backups are reasonably fast and use minimal data, unless you have added many, or large, files.

9. And I don't know how to access files backed up or synced from my computer.

10. You would EXPECT this, assuming you didn't rename, move, or duplicate the files on the phone.

11. Response is not very convincing, however, Dropbox does not consume any battery and never fails to back up files.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix IDrive Online Backup Issues

  4. Check IDrive Online Backup app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, IDrive Online Backup might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall IDrive Online Backup. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall IDrive Online Backup then reinstall.
