Why should I report an Issue with OurStreets?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of OurStreets to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. (I'd also love for users to be able to mine the data, but that'll be a complaint for a future time; whenever the app gets working again)The app won't actually allow you to see what stores have in stock!! You can only input what stores have & report wrong doings that you witness!! How is this helping me to find items?? It's NOT!! There is no menu that gives you the option to acually check what the stores have in stock!! Then when I tap on the magnifying glass it gives me stores in other city's & states!! When the app first opened it never gave me the chance to put my demographics in, it switched pages before I could.Great app: smooth experience to report.

2. Thank you!I've seen some bad apps, but this one tops the cake! Misleading that the app helps find supplies in stores near you! This app wants you to do the work FOR THEM! I refuse to do the work for any App, just so they can make money off me! Theres no Home menu, to see what's available in stock, at stores near you! All this app does is, for you, to share what YOU found & take a picture of it! Worthless! I refuse to do the work, for a worthless app! Not worth losing storage space for! DELETINGSuper easy to use, great user interface.

3. It doesn't seem to list (or offer to list) stores by proximity — there are 2 within a 5 block radius of me and I have to search to find them, and even then not always (I haven't posted a report yet, but I looked at a few levels of it and that does let you pinpoint).

4. The app seems to be too big for the screen.This app has been great in a time of supply shortage! The most helpful part is that you can see how recently someone confirmed how much supply a certain store has.

5. Try making use of language and text, so the data can be used.Great app; previously had it as a 5/5 ... but for a couple months now it's had a submission bug that has rendered it unusable, so I'm switching to 1/5 for the time being.

6. My only suggestion would be for the app to issue a reminder for shoppers to update it, once they open the app.This ised to be great but will not let me submit any reports on vehicles blocking hydrants or misparked.

7. Additionally the app doesn't seem to fit my screen I have to guess and press random parts of the screen and hope that I'm getting the search button within me.

8. I'll be sure to post when I go out for any groceries/supplies.I like the concept of this app but I'm not sure if there's something wrong with the geolocation but there are no stores listed near me the closest one is always at least 15 miles away.

9. This is the bigger issue of the two, not being able to see the search function at the bottom of the screen.

1. Fix OurStreets Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart OurStreets: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the OurStreets App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "OurStreets" » Open OurStreets » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for OurStreets » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear OurStreets app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from OurStreets servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "OurStreets" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check OurStreets app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, OurStreets might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall OurStreets. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall OurStreets then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing OurStreets not working

2. Fix OurStreets Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make OurStreets be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to OurStreets not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, OurStreets may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
