Why should I report an Issue with Bluer for Facebook and Messenger?

Bluer Customer Insights

1. Due to the intrusive ads, I said to myself I'd upgrade to lifetime if it went well after some time but after occasional crashes, not being able to open my own profile at times and posts often failing to save, I'll look elsewhere for now.. Great idea but needs loads of work still...Great app! The only problems I have are that the ads show up in private conversations (this should be removed), you cannot listen to or download voice messages, and a few features are missing.

2. Still missing some important features, like the ability to scroll through photos when in-message chat when there is more than one photos to look at and the ability to chose Bluer app when we want to share something from somewhere else in the phone sharing function, just to name a few.

3. However, this could be a Facebook problem though since FB lite has it too... Also there seems to be a lack of muted notifications (again, messages 🗯) capacity as compared to when I use on original app or mobile.

4. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because, even though the app is in dark mode, the navigation panel of the phone's screen remains light (white).

5. I must also point the fact that the app is unusable in its free state, ads being way too much intrusive and aggressive.2 stars simply for the idea of being so private.

6. (I would like to see messenger style chat-heads and the ability to automatically download images, videos and/or audios to your gallery automatically as you recieve them.)Giving 5 ⭐ cuz it's a really outstanding app.

7. Experiencing some issues in messages, where I can't share posted content to people in group chats, much less outside my friend list.

8. I've been looking for an app that offers that feature aside from dark mode because FB Messenger doesn't offer that one.

9. BUT! There's some features missing, e.g can't view profiles, groups, and pages info.

10. And make things bigger, the screen looks clutteredNot quite there yet, but I must admit that I clearly see the potential of this app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Bluer Issues

1. Fix Bluer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Bluer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Bluer App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Bluer" » Open Bluer for Facebook and Messenger » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Bluer » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Bluer for Facebook and Messenger app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Bluer servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Bluer for Facebook and Messenger" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Bluer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Bluer might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Bluer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Bluer then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Bluer not working


2. Fix Bluer Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Bluer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Bluer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Bluer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
