1. Super frustrating.The only reason I'm rating this a 2 instead of 5, is because it gets annoying having to watch ads every time I put my phone down for a hot second and come back to the app to watch more ads before they start back playin the show! Very frustrating and makes me not even want to use the app because of all the unnecessary ads that you have to watch when you exit the app.

2. I dont understand how it doesn't freeze up when playing ads, but when the show is supposed to play it freezes up!good luck trying to get this to work on chromecast.

3. I appreciate that I'm able to watch the shows I'm trying to see at all, but between the streaming issues and the amount of ads, it was hard to even give 2 stars.I use the app on my Roku on my TV.

4. Not only does the app constantly play ads that are louder than the show, but the shows look horrible on the screen.

5. Either at the beginning of the shows or, worse, in the MIDDLE of the program, I'll get error messages of "video unavailable".

11. VH1 really needs to fix these issues, I'm so disappointed.There have been many times when the app freezes up or the videos just won't play.

1. Fix VH1 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart VH1: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the VH1 App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "VH1" » Open VH1 » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for VH1 » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear VH1 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VH1 servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VH1" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check VH1 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VH1 might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall VH1. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall VH1 then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing VH1 not working

2. Fix VH1 Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make VH1 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to VH1 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, VH1 may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
