1. Open "Drag Racer" and put the phone under the windshield (rubber pad, or a navigation handle can be helpful). 3.
2. Check out "Head-up display" mode - place the device under the windshield and observe the reflection. 1.
3. Acceleration drawn on a nice graph, analyze it, improve your driving skills.
4. Quarter mile, 0-60 (or more) and absolute top speed can easily be measured.
5. With our star rating, you will know how accurate was your race. Night racer?
6. Make sure your phone's GPS location is ON, and the app is allowed to use it. 2.
7. Please provide us with feedback on the accuracy with your device.
1. GPS signal keeps building, then dropping to zero, even with location permission set to "all the time." My digi-hud speedometer app works perfectly, so it's not the phone or the GPS.
2. 2 stars instead of 1 because it used to function ok.Nice and speedy does it!! Only using now for about a week and have done a couple full launch runs with it.
3. I do not have a reference with any official track timing, but the times I got were consistent with the specs for my car, so this seems accurate enough!! I should mention that I am using a separate BT GPS receiver with a rather high update rate.
4. I can confirm that the app uses all position updates it gets so my 10 Hz BT receiver enables much more precise speed and distance computations leading to a much more accurate result.
5. It does display top speed however.Seems decent, however my 0-60 attempts are always cut at 40mph despite me going to 80, it says my max speed was 74 but shows 0 data for it.
6. The app stores the results and can overlay them on graphNot 100% accurate, but it gives you a pretty good idea.
7. I have tried every setting on my phone and in the app to remedy this problem, but it does not change anything.
8. Has full location permission and phone set to most accurate GPS.
9. I know when a launch was quicker than others, but it gives me slower time results.
10. I know I can pull 4 sec 0 to 100Looks like a real nice app but having the same problem of others where I can't keep a gps signal.
11. My 0-40 times ranged from 4s to 7.7s so I'm not too sure how accurate this timer really is... My quickest 10mph was .3 seconds and I'm in a 90s pickupUseless app.
