What users are saying

1. If plugged in via USB cable, says it cannot work due to Android auto which I have disabled in my phone.

2. The help menu only tell what each thing means, it provides no help or a way to get helpDoesn't work!!! I hook up to the car and 1/4 of the time it will start transmitting(3/4 NOT AT ALL) diagnostics but ALWAYS fail and say I have to reconnect my phone etc.

3. It started working after I switched.Does not connect! I initiate activation on my 2018 Kia Soul with my phone plugged up via USB.

4. After a few tries, it'll show as connected (on phone), but it would go right back to the "In Car Setup" screen (on phone), my phone screen then goes in and out, then immediately, my cars tells me "connection unsuccessful ".

5. FIX THIS APP!!! what is the point of this app if it doesn't work with the car it's meant to be used for? Mind you this worked for a long time with ny 18 optima (current car) out of nowhere, stopped.

6. Then as soon as you plug your phone in it wants to install Android Auto.

7. Says it's waiting for Bluetooth connection even when my phone is connected and playing through the multimedia system.

8. Now what good is this app if it will not work with Android Auto.

9. Endless battle.I was able to connect our S6 and S7 using android auto.

10. So now every time I start my car, I get the diagnosis message but can send the report to my phone.

11. Constantly says its waiting for a Bluetooth connection on my phone, but never connects.

    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Kia eServices" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Kia eServices app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Kia eServices might not work.

  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Kia eServices not working

2. Fix Kia eServices Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Kia eServices be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Kia eServices not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Kia eServices may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
