1. Cheers!Excellent!!! No ads and you can EDIT the contractions start time and duration! I tried several timers looking for this opportunity, thanks you guys! And the visual graphics at the same screen, and the dark theme for saving battery, and big buttons, and comments, and all this for free!In medical, contractions use 2 metrics: duration and interval (frequency).
2. It not only timed the duration of the contractions I was having and the length of the intervals between, but also presented the information in a simple visual bar graph at the top to easily and at a glance help me understand when it was time to go to the hospital.
3. Appreciate the option to keep timing existing contractions add I often pressed it too soon and other apps only allow you to delete the record once you stop timing.
4. Thank you! We used this for both my daughter's and son's births! The hospital was able to use this information to get up to date quickly on my contraction frequency, and I didn't have to think about it.
5. Also, this was the app our nurse used to time our contractions in the hospital!Very useful for tracking contractions.
6. So, when you are using the phone and your wife starts feeling a contraction, it's faster to switch to the app (or to start/stop timing) because I think the Android app switching feature is too slow.
7. Really great!Could use the ability to delete contractions if you messed something up, but I like that the default color palette is for night-time use.
8. No visual clutter, just enough info so that a frantic full-term mom or birth partner can effectively chart the development of contractions.
9. But really, your just measuring if your able to get to the hospital or not.I like this app for tracking contractions and have used it through two labors and soon to be a third.
10. But it also has a handy chart, so you can see how much time is spent in contractions versus time resting.
11. Duration is one contraction start to end.
