Give it a try and install it now! - New records are added daily (in some cases hourly). - Add notifications and get notified when someone you know gets arrested. - Browse recent arrests and filter by Gender, Race, County and Date. - Original mugshots (without the JailBase Logo) are available for purchase and emailed directly to you.

1. I thought this app was suppose to be simple, but ended up being frustrating instead.13 out of 20 people agree on these 2 findings please note!!! 1: the app seems to malfunction around 45-50 photos into scolling, if on the BROWSE page.. leaving only a "Loading" message on majority of the photos available, this was on multiple devices.. 2: (also my personal gripe/frustration) it doesn't allow you to return to the spot you had been on prior-if you click on a photo, it takes you right back to the beginning... all over again....😑thxIt has potential, on the right track.. but unfortunately, not a single person that I know that I seen in the app, had the correct name! Big problem if you're trying to search for someone but the app isn't correct with their information.

2. Uninstalled the app.It was very easy to navigate and find what I was looking for in a minute or two instead of having to jump through hoops to get to where I needed to be!! Very quick and informative, definitely not complicated for those of us who are (for the most part) computer illiterate, just enough skills to get me by!!Has free arrest records even with mugshots.

3. If this app would stop saying that our local county jail needs to update records and actually update its records like the other apps do then I will most definitely reinstallNot worth tbd space on my phone, deleting.

4. Good concept and would be a great tool if those huge issues improved but as of its current functionality, it falls short and useless to me.No Location Specific Results I attempted to select my state, but nothing happened.

5. I checked and I've been checking for the past month and every night it says that my jail needs to update the records.

6. My county isn't available to search specifically or to create alerts which doesn't matter since the alert feature wouldn't work at all.

7. Searched for people that I know have records, one persons is quite long, and they either only have bare bones information or do not show up at all.

8. I couldn't find anyone I was looking for, although I know theyve been incarcerated several times each and in various states.

9. The only problem is that it doesn't seem to update the population.

1. Fix JailBase Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart JailBase: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the JailBase App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "JailBase" » Open JailBase - Arrests + Mugshots » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for JailBase » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear JailBase - Arrests + Mugshots app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from JailBase servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "JailBase - Arrests + Mugshots" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check JailBase app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, JailBase might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall JailBase. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall JailBase then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing JailBase not working

2. Fix JailBase Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make JailBase be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to JailBase not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, JailBase may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
