1. But that's why there's an option to get a subscription(which is ready worth it, in my opinion) I have only one complaint, which is not That bad & I'm not even sure if it's anything they can fix, but when I use the app on the TV I can't change the speed so it takes me double the time to watch an episode 😅 otherwise 💯I would give this app 5 stars but, they need to work on the English subtitles.

2. I just want to know what it's about before choosing whether to watch or not! And in the middle of every episode an annoying pop up shows up on screen asking me to rate it.

3. For example on Beauty of Resilience; the English subtitle sentence will pop up and by the time you read the first word of it.

4. Also having ads after paying for VIP is annoying even if there's an ability to skip it.The content itself is fine, but the app itself is horrible.

5. 3rd even though I have no issues watching it on my cellphone when I try to watch it on my TV it's slow, freezes and/or closes the app.*Updated to 4 stars, lack of synopsis and autoplay are still bothersome.

6. Having it always in white makes it difficult to read if the background is light.

7. I got through 6 of the ads before deciding it's too much to just enjoy a show on there.I would love to give more stars, and I know it's not the app's fault, but 5min of advertisement every 10 to 15min that you cannot skip is just too much.

8. They are all in gray or white text so sometimes you can't read what is being said if the caption is posted on a white or light background.

9. I hate that I can't click a show to find out details without it auto playing the first episode.

10. When the skip button does appear, you barely skip one ad, so you still end up waiting 4/5 ads most of the time and they are each 1min long (not kidding).

11. Let me begin by saying that the available content is great, as is the ability to skip the intro and outro.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iQIYI Issues

1. Fix iQIYI Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iQIYI: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iQIYI App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iQIYI" » Open iQIYI - Drama, Anime, Show » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iQIYI » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iQIYI - Drama, Anime, Show app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iQIYI servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iQIYI - Drama, Anime, Show" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iQIYI app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iQIYI might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iQIYI. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iQIYI then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iQIYI not working


2. Fix iQIYI Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iQIYI be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iQIYI not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iQIYI may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I already canceled my subscription in Iqiyi, but I was still debited. I even uninstalled the app already.
