1. This happens when clicking on an article to read, or when changing sections.I like the Miami Herald, & as I've been away, I've really appreciated the app (before the latest update) to stay tuned in to Miami/FL news, though I'm holding off on subscribing for financial reasons.

1. Fix Miami Herald Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Miami Herald: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Miami Herald App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Miami Herald" » Open Miami Herald » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Miami Herald » click "UPDATE".
