1. The app buffers after only a few seconds, the audio stops and then has to catch up! The news content is great, but the app really sucks! It needs to be rebuilt from scratch! The updates are useless! The same problems still exist! PLEASE FIX THIS DILAPIDATED APP!I love Newsmax, but this app needs improvement! Issues: No buffering.

2. Audio podcasting shows even better!Editing App rating, due to it's constant streaming problems of re-playing the last few seconds, like every minute.

3. when my connection bandwidth drops a bit the app has a tendency to repeat the last five seconds of video over and over in a loop while it tries to recover newer incoming video packets.

4. It will many times repeat the last 5 seconds of audio and then later catch up, but you lost the 5 seconds on catchup.

5. it should sense the loss of bandwidth and on-the-fly compressRewind and fast forward don't work while watching live TV and when I watch a show that's already aired when I fast forward or rewind I can't see where I'm at and where I'd like to stop unlike Netflix, YouTube, Hulu and so many other apps.

6. Which brings me to another nice feature, you can watch their shows without the commercials! Very nice.Happy as hell to finally find a major streaming news channel.

7. The problems lie with the app freezing, restarting, and the audio being "off target" meaning the words don't match up with the mouths.

8. If you want to keep viewers using your app you need to update it badly.GREAT CONTENT! Which is why I give it 3 stars.

9. I like to listen and most of the news presented can be absorbed audio only.

10. I.e. Almost like a record skipping... every minute or less, the stream like starts over the last few seconds.

1. Fix Newsmax Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Newsmax: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Newsmax App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Newsmax" » Open Newsmax » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Newsmax » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Newsmax app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Newsmax servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Newsmax" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Newsmax app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Newsmax might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Newsmax. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Newsmax then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Newsmax not working

2. Fix Newsmax Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Newsmax be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Newsmax not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Newsmax may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
