1. While exploring the app I selected different size fonts for viewing and when I selected a much larger size from a smaller some of the script (words) were superimposed on top of each other so as to be unreadable.Green screen! A friend and I are having the exact same issue.
2. Thank you and praise God for this app :)Real easy to use has different translations so you can choose your preference you can choose the speed it will read it to you if you like different color schemes as well I don't remember seeing very many ads, which is nice I'm focusing on the Lord.
3. I love the use of different voices and the background sounds. This app is a great Bible reader it is very easy to use.
4. Also very slow response when selecting a book to read.If you want a quick-to-load, simple, and easy-to-use bible app, this is it.
5. I was given one when I joined the service many years ago, and I used it frequently.Fantastic audio Bible, but thats about the only thing this app has going for it.
6. As an alternative, I recommend the Bible app from OliveTree as the best one I've seen.I listen to the word as I fall asleep each night.
7. It is not user friendly and it doesn't hold Bible version settings once selected.
8. 4 stars because at the end of every chapter, the voice repeats the chapter number and first few words of the chapter before moving on a reading the next chapter number.
9. A download option allows you to use audio resources offline, and after signing in with Facebook, the text can be used offline too.
10. It automatically goes to audio even when one turns it off even though you hit the button to read the words.
11. Some versions of the Bible simply dont open properly.
I downloaded the gideon bible app and read and listen for awhile. Then the next day the app acts up and does not open. I have reloaded the app many times but it still acts up
This app now quits after the opening screen on all my iPads after upgrading to iPadOS 15.7. It was a favourite app and I hope you can fix it soon.
Will not play on iPad; just keeps “spinning”
