Why should I report an Issue with Kitsu: Anime & Manga Tracker?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. One thing I'd like to be added is a randomizer where you can get random Anime generated, because it has been hard finding interesting stuff.The app is great for tracking animes and making weeb friends but the bugs are so annoying.

2. However, I've been using MAL more because there's a larger selection and you have the ability to search for anime and manga at the same time.It's really a good tracking app cos I can also note down when the series I like has a new season.

3. Can y'all fix the problem? It really affects the usage of the app really greatly.This app is really great :) I've been using it since 2019 and the experience so far hasn't been lacking, although the app does sometimes glitch a bit.

4. I prefer it's interface better as I'm a former user of My anime list but one thing that is missing for me, is "the characters list and profile" of a specific anime.

5. But I think it's unmaintainedI've been using this for a few weeks to compare it to the My Anime List app.

6. It would be great to have a drop down of characters of an anime and their "profile photo", with if possible their voice actors.

7. Apart of that Kitsu is great.Overall it's an app that really helps me keep track of all my anime and manga that I've started, finished and am yet to start.

8. A lot of users have been facing the same problem with the profile pics yet still there hasnt been any efforts that they have put in rectifying this defect.The app functions some of the time.

9. Created a new account and somehow it has random watch progress and ratings on shows I open but obviously never rated yet (some "on hold" with 3 eps watched, some "completed" etc.) Things load slowly or never load at all.

10. The app also feels second rate compared to their website as some features (like being able to comment on an entire series as opposed to just an episode) aren't available on the app.I really do love this app.

1. Fix Kitsu Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Kitsu: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Kitsu App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Kitsu" » Open Kitsu: Anime & Manga Tracker » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Kitsu » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Kitsu: Anime & Manga Tracker app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Kitsu servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Kitsu: Anime & Manga Tracker" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Kitsu app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Kitsu might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Kitsu. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Kitsu then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Kitsu not working

2. Fix Kitsu Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Kitsu be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Kitsu not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Kitsu may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
