1. The UI is decent but I have to restart my son's phone for any changes to take effect, though, to be fair it is hard to find an app like this that does work well because they typically start off with a pathetic 3 day trial period that doesn't allow you to really see that it works.

2. This app has worked pretty well, however it consistently has trouble locating my child's device when other apps such as find my phone can locate it in seconds.

1. Fix ESET Parental Control Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart ESET Parental Control: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the ESET Parental Control App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ESET Parental Control" » Open ESET Parental Control » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ESET Parental Control » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear ESET Parental Control app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ESET Parental Control servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ESET Parental Control" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check ESET Parental Control app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ESET Parental Control might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall ESET Parental Control. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ESET Parental Control then reinstall.

2. Fix ESET Parental Control Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ESET Parental Control be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ESET Parental Control not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ESET Parental Control may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
