MGM+ Customer Insights

1. I can find these movies on the 7 other apps I subscribe too.the app is super simple, and the ui +features aren't great, there's no separate profiles, and the skip credits choice doesn't work, but this is the first streaming service I've found that has more than just a couple good series on it.

2. the app Is still new, so it has some stuff to work on, but the content is so effin good it doesn't matter.It works great on my phone but I tried casting it on my TV and it's all blacked out all I hear is them talking, I checked with the Epix app as well and their casting is having the same problem, can you guys create the TV app or something, or at least let me log in using the Epix app, this is getting a little stressing, if not for this I would have given it a better rating.

3. No continue watching, no fast forward or rewind of any amount of seconds, doesn't auto-play next episode, no skip recap or intro options.

4. I have to hit the arrow back button to exit the show start the episode again and then before the play menu at the bottom disappears, hit the enter button on the remote to pause / rw / ff... Sucks.This app sucks.

5. The directory is awful, making finding a movie difficult and "if" there is a wide selection of movies available, you can't find them, even with the search option.

6. I've only found 2 shows worth watching, and once the second season of From is over I'm out.I got this for the show From which is great, but the app is terrible.

7. Uninstalled and only suffered through the free trial because if you paid more than .99¢ for this app, you paid too much.I'm watching my first show on MGM+.

8. "Continue Watching" takes you back to the beginning of the last episode already watched.

9. Show is good, but the app is completely frustrating! Can't watch an episode smoothly.

10. Definitely not going back.The movie selection is terrible, nothing you can't find on any other app, especially better ones like Netflix or Amazon prime.

11. (UPDATE: You guys still haven't fixed the app for the Samsung Smart TV.)The shows and movies are top notch especially the original series.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MGM+ Issues

1. Fix MGM+ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MGM+: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MGM+ App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MGM+" » Open MGM+ » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MGM+ » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MGM+ app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MGM+ servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MGM+" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MGM+ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MGM+ might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MGM+. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MGM+ then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MGM+ not working


2. Fix MGM+ Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MGM+ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MGM+ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MGM+ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
