1. But i have to uninstall youPlease read Important! Cool app butttt This app is cool but i chose split in 2 chunks one chunk was 60 secs other was 40 secs so i thought cool this should work for instagram direct message but it doesnt! The reason is because the first chunk cut to 60secs 1 minute says my video is too long on instagram even tho its 60 secs 1minute so i had to use my built in camera editor on phone to cut it to 59secs then it worked please change the split chunks for over a min into 59 secs maximum so it worksSplits easily quickly and accurately; Very simple no extra frills.

2. I'm so glad I stumbled onto Story Splitter!It worked to cut up my video into 6 10 seconds sections so I could post on fb stories.

3. Be nice to see more editing options, but it does the job.It is good but i think there should be one option like custom size for split video at same time.

4. Would have kept it if not for thisI selected a Facebook story so that it would split my video into 20-second increments.

5. If they couldn't, the app is still great as it is.Video appears to have split fine and each plays, however each video actually shows that the time is 0 seconds.

6. But when I go to add the videos to my story, it says each section is 0:00 seconds and Facebook won't let me add them because they are too short 🤷🏼 ♀️Since the latest update, the app works very well and thus far is the only one that works for me.

7. Still the same issue exists.I just spent two hours downloading horrible apps to try to cut my video for an IG story.

1. Fix Story Splitter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Story Splitter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Story Splitter App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Story Splitter" » Open Story Splitter » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Story Splitter » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Story Splitter app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Story Splitter servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Story Splitter" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Story Splitter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Story Splitter might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Story Splitter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Story Splitter then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Story Splitter not working

2. Fix Story Splitter Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Story Splitter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Story Splitter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Story Splitter may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
