1. If the ads stay tolerable, this will be my go-to app for news reading.Works as advertised, works fast, no pop-ups, decent UI, doesn't require a separate account, doesn't try to push its political view, lets you pick your own sources and has plenty of source options (at least for international mode), doesn't require suspicious permissions.
2. 👍👍👍It has a great intention to provide us a great experience browsing through the news, however: 1- In a case when you are reading an article, then you close the app; subsequently when you get into app again and press to back button to reach the news feed the app simply closes instead?! It is really an exhausting problem.
3. It has many news sources (e.g. Germany) which some other news apps don't have and it also has a specific location navigator which lets you choose different counties other than the ones offered on initial installation.
4. Secondly, neither the app nor the widget allows you to mark articles as "read".This is the app I've been looking for, no nonsense with bundles and bundles of news sources to choose from.
5. it seems to be nothing more than an aggregator of news article LINKS with very limited functionality and customisation.
6. UI is simple and easy to navigate: I want to read the news and not get distracted by some app features.
7. 2- Up on the feed, there is a questionnaire-type ad, which has an x button to close that does not work?! I mean, if you are going to put ads everywhere, do it properly...The floating notifications doesn't redirect me to app.
8. As far as news widgets go, this is the most pleasing on the eyes and offers great customization options.
9. I can filter out the trash biased news that is slammed in my face all the time and the ads seem not to be too excessive.
10. For example, there is no offline reading and every article that you click results in a pause while the Web page of the media outlet concerned loads.
11. I love the app but only my 'news' feed is updating at the moment.
