Why should I report an Issue with MALClient?

3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. My only gripe would be with the search setting requiring you to put in a word for a title instead of being able to search based on genres (you can search by genre, but only to narrow down a word search and it prioritizes anime searches), or by other stats like , most recently aired.

2. (That is, until I discovered the native Windows app equivalent by the same developer - give it a shot!) Not everything is perfect - for example, I wish the default page on app start could be set to general search instead of my personal list.

3. if you most have two, the default should search everywhere.It was working for a while and I was able to keep track of numerous anime.

8. Oh lastly I think it could use a section in each anime of places you can watch it even if it is nothing more than a list.Excellent user interface - far preferable to MAL's actual and outdated website.

9. The ability to create multiple lists, track progress and rate shows from one place it's really good.

10. Everything is well laid out but sometimes the search glitches where if you are searching something new sometimes it will only show you search results from a previous search.

1. Fix MALClient Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart MALClient: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the MALClient App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MALClient" » Open MALClient » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MALClient » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear MALClient app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MALClient servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MALClient" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check MALClient app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MALClient might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall MALClient. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MALClient then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MALClient not working

2. Fix MALClient Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MALClient be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MALClient not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MALClient may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
