1. So much for the subscription I had just purchased prior to this update... Even before this update, ads frequently hid or obscured content above, below or otherwise near the ads, necessitating creative scrolling in an attempt to reveal the content.Horrible now, doesn't work.

1. Fix Detroit Free Press Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Detroit Free Press: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Detroit Free Press App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Detroit Free Press" » Open Detroit Free Press: Freep » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Detroit Free Press » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Detroit Free Press: Freep app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Detroit Free Press servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Detroit Free Press: Freep" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
