1. Has all the things the new version got rid of: Distinct visual separation between headline and excerpt, Mark as Read button in the same place each time, consistent number of articles per screen scroll, let me count the ways.
2. I have a TAB S4, and a Galaxy S8 - no slouches ! But any more than 50 articles, and it is a real stutterfest !Could you please leave this feesly classic app available? The new design is very awkward and marks items as read immediately when highlighted, and requires many more taps for stuff which required just 1 swipe or tap before.
3. The new version feels like the predecessor with some fluid animations which serve to distract rather than enhance.I had looked through several apps before deciding on Feedly.
4. I'm sure many people would buy a subscription if you were to offer for example a basic subscription for 2 euros a month, or a "build your package" style sub. This syncs between my phone and tablet, so that is good The delete button doesn't show up on the phone, all you see is red.
5. The actual classic version of Feedly worked perfectly in landscape view on my convertable.
6. The new version needs a less bland looking UI, a setting to open full articles directly, and the list view option.
7. Now, with the new, allegedly the same, app I can only get functional utility in tablet mode.Feedly Classic has been a great replacement for Google Reader.
8. The classic version was superior to News 360 and Flipboard and several other feed/aggregator apps.
9. Anyway, thanks for keeping this version around.Back in the day I used the Pulse News app, and I still miss the design to this day.
10. Then LinkedIn bought Pulse and proceeded to release a new (and absolutely neutered and godawful) version of the app, leaving behind tons of long-term users.
11. Thanks for keeping this old one around!Much Better Than the New Version - this loads your pages in batches of 6 or 7 stories.
