1. Following that, there is no clear way to differentiate between Subbed and Dubbed, so often times we go into a show only to find it is only available is Subbed and that really does not work well for me.Ever since Crunchyroll was acquired the app has stopped recording subtitle preferences and I am unable to go to the next episode without the app showing that it's not available when streaming to Chromecast.
2. Auto play works when it wants too, when it does the next episode may or may not start in the same language, subtitles randomly turn off or on or change languages, etc.
3. Update 06/22/23: After the most recent update it still doesn't fix any of the issues and I question what the developers changed.Lots of great content, to bad the app just keeps getting worse.
4. Your app doesn't seem to work right on any platform. The app crashes often! When you're watching, after completing a previous episode, the subtitles won't load correctly and will appear 5-10 seconds late.
5. Even with these issues I will still stick with Crunchyroll their app is easy to navigate and they have many amazing animes.Great shows, lots of awesome content.
6. Yet the app can play in pop up window? Also.. why can't I change the audio language when casting? I can't change the subtitles while casting.
7. The anime available is great, and I find the controls are easy, but the constant buffering is getting old.Overall good.
8. My synced episodes won't play, sometimes the screen will not let me push anything and when I close the app the audio is still playing in the background so I have to turn off my phone.
9. Until they fix their app, I recommend using the web browser for crunchyroll.Great but I feel like there are still issues.
10. One of the most frequent issues I have is the subtitles not matching with the audio and video.
11. I miss the joy anime once gave...Crunchyroll is kind enough to offer their service for free with ads, which is nice if you're too lazy to sail the seven seas.
