UPDATE: After reinstalling the app 3 times and with location & notifications turned off, it appears to be working for now-- crossing my fingers.Great way for me to keep up with all the news from King, Pierce, Snohomish counties and more! I was born and raised here and have since relocated but I absolutely love this app.I use this mainly for the morning live broadcast (which I enjoy), but the repeated commercials are quite annoying.

2. Nick Allard is my absolute favorite! This review is strictly based on the performance of the app.I've used this app for years with no problems, but since November 22nd, 2020, the website launches for a few seconds and then the screen turns black with only a link on top to Homestreet Bank, thus making this KIRO 7 app USELESS! Luckily, KOMO 4 and KING 5 apps continue to work fine-- sorry KIRO 7.

3. My family has turned it into a game to see who can guess the number of times a commercial will repeat.The app is okay,"However, the grammar in the stories they post make it look like they never went to college.

4. The settings are an absolute joke...I have all boxes UNCHECKED except for sports alerts and severe weather alerts; yet, I get 7 or 8 completely irrelevant and unrelated alerts all day long.

5. When it does work (which is only during literally every other update), the news stories are decent.
