Why should I report an Issue with SchoolStatus Connect?

1. In 15 years of parent-teacher communication, this is the most difficult one I've ever used.Ad heavy, does not run smoothly, redirects you to a unrelated link(Walmart, Brother's Pizza, ect.) when trying to open a .pdf from our teacher every time, and stopped receiving notifications when app was posted to or a direct message sent(app is up to date, so not the problem).

2. It makes it harder to communicate consistently with parents and I was hoping it would alleviate emailing, but I still get the same amount of emails! Hopefully this can be fixed asap .This app is full of features, however it is very difficult to navigate.

When using mobile version, which it's intended for, it's extremely slow to open, to submit a message, to retrieve messages, to click through the sections, and you can't erase what you've already seen, I don't want to continue to see who sponsors a class or the app, we should be able to erase what we've already seen in all catergories.

4. Have to use it though, so it would be great if they spent more time on development of the app and not focused on the ads.Overall, I like using classtag to communicate with parents.

5. Haven't had any issues with crashes or other tech issues, and I run an ancient droid device.App is slow to load anything and sometimes doesn't load a page correctly.

6. It's been great communicating with parents and having them sign up for parent conferences.

7. I receive messages from my parents hours after it's been sent.

8. I want to like this app and I could tolerate the ads if the UX was half decent.This app has more ads than teacher announcements and I'm receiving a ton of marketing emails rather than actual notifications.

9. It also has sent out past messages, confusing some of my parents.

10. However, I really disliked all the advertising that was included in everything: the emails sent to parents, the app itself, and emails to me.

11. I appreciate that it keeps the service free but the text for messages is excessively small and the buttons are not suited for a phone screen.

1. Fix SchoolStatus Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart SchoolStatus Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the SchoolStatus Connect App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SchoolStatus Connect" » Open SchoolStatus Connect » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SchoolStatus Connect » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear SchoolStatus Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SchoolStatus Connect servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SchoolStatus Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check SchoolStatus Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SchoolStatus Connect might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall SchoolStatus Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SchoolStatus Connect then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SchoolStatus Connect not working

2. Fix SchoolStatus Connect Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SchoolStatus Connect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SchoolStatus Connect not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SchoolStatus Connect may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
